It is just about cherry blossom season in Japan and my heart yearns hard for it. It was definitely, by far, my most favorite time of year while I was over there. People would flock together to any and every park there was, set up a tarp on a plot of land, and spend the entire day there having ice cold beers, snacks, and picnic fare all in the company of good friends. Imagine these gorgeous pink and white flowers the size of snowflakes blowing in the wind and landing in your hair. {Sigh.} One day soon.

Reason #4,656 why I am dying to go to Japan.

  • Cherry blossoms are my favorite, ever. And I've never actually seen one in person (blooming, that is), isn't that odd?
